Plateau state governor, Jonah Jang has blamed virtually everyone except his government, and his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, and its officials for the  twin explosions which hit jos Terminus market on May 20, 2014, Tuesday, in Plateau state.

Gov. Jang blamed the traders at the market for not detecting the bomb-laden vehicles parked within their midst for hours.
"How come a car will be parked in a place for hours, and almost on the road; yet nobody raised alarm. We must learn to be security conscious," he said.
The governor said that the state government had earlier asked traders to vacate the market and if they had obeyed, the explosion would not have occurred or the casualty would not have been that high, adding that his administration would demolish the market and chase the traders from the place.
Gov. Jang went on to blame opposition leaders and critics of the government for the worsening Boko Haram insurgency in Northern Nigeria.
According to him some critics who had in the past held leadership positions in Nigeria, had threatened to make the country ungovernable for President Goodluck Jonathan and they were the ones sponsoring the insurgents, alleging that some of them have information on how to stop Boko Haram but will not provide such information as they are either sponsors or agents of the Boko Haram.
He added that comments by the opposition party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, since the abduction of over 250 girls from Chibok in Borno, were capable of misleading and creating more insecurity in Nigeria.
He therefore called on president Jonathan to go tough on such people as nobody was above the law in Nigeria.
While commiserating with families of those who lost relations in the blast, the governor appealed to those still searching for their relations to report to appropriate government agencies, adding that the state government would foot the hospital bills of the survivors.
