Manchester City today leap frogged Chelsea into second spot on the English Premier League table following their emphatic 2-1 win at home against Tottenham Hotspur.
Chelsea returnee, John Terry put his side in the lead as early as 20′minutes but saw that advantage cancelled with a Luiz Suarez effort in the 73rd minute. With that result, Roberto Di Matteo’s side have been confined to third place on the table with 23-points, four adrift of league leaders, Manchester United.
