UCL: Chelsea Vs FC Nordsjælland [8:45pm] + Other Fixtures

Will Chelsea join Manchester City as the second English Premier League side to be knocked out of the UEFA Champions League in the first round group stage? That question will be answered in some few hours time from now as the Stamford Bridge side go into their last Group E game knowing that only a win over FC Nordsjælland, will keep their slim hopes of qualifying from the group alive.
While holding onto that slim possibility, the Benitez tutored side must also hope that Juventus lose away to Shakhtar Donetsk if they are to entertain any chance of advancing through to the group stages and avoid entering the history books as the first defending team in Champions League history to bow out in the group stages.
Tonight’s encounter also happens to be one interim manager, Rafa Benitez will be looking forward to claiming his first win since assuming the uneviable job at Chelsea.
For FC Nordsjælland, the match has little significance for them as sink or swim, they are all but out of the Champions League as well as the Europa League. Maybe, all they’ve to fight for is pride – the last time both sides met in October, Chelsea were 4-0 victors.
