Kenya: Chicken with three legs

Throngs of villagers are flocking at a homestead in Bahati village, Kenya to see so called miracle. A chick has three legs, one of them is deformed, but still has attracted a lot of attention as most residents associate the chick with witchcraft.
The owner Jackton Juma Sudi said that the chick was from one of his hens. Apparently it was the first time for the hen to hatch a deformed chick.
Juma noted that in his 10 years of poultry farming he had never witnessed such an occurrence and it was shocking to him and his family. He however said that the chick though small has become an entertainer and you can catch it walking with its three legs majestically. At times it walks with its two leg and also tries hopping around with one leg which cracks the children in the homestead.

Residents however advised Juma to kill the small chick associating it with witchcraft, while others associated it with luck. He rubbished off all the different theories and said he will rear the chick.
Juma who is currently rearing about 100 chickens said he will raise it with the others normally to its maturity unless it dies out of sickness or natural death.
